One month into the educational session, Delhi University (DU) faculties struggle to fill the reserved category seats. While the general admissions in the university exceeded the available number of seats, 63.9% of seats reserved for the economically weaker phase (EWS), and 52.2% of seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) are nevertheless vacant. Besides, 20% of seats reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and sixteen% seats for Scheduled Castes (SCs) are yet to be stuffed.
